Let’s get into it 👇

To break down these NBA Finals props, we went back to the two regular-season matchups between OKC and Indiana — and they delivered plenty of insight.

Both games were high-paced, high-scoring affairs (132–111 and 120–114) with plenty of minutes and volume for key players. The same core matchups we’ll see in the Finals were on full display, giving us a clean look at how certain props could play out.

Let’s dig into two player props that stand out based on those games — and where the value might be in Game 1.

In both games versus Indiana this season, SGA had 15 rebounds and assists.

Also encouraging, he’s averaged 12.3 rebounds and assists at home in the playoffs. He’s averaged 35.5 minutes at home in the playoffs, dragged down by two blowouts where he played just 23 and 30 minutes. In all other games, he played 33+ minutes. In those games, he averaged 12 rebounds and assists per game.

As long as it isn’t a blowout tonight, his head-to-head history and his home playoff data suggest a possible strong rebound and assist performance.

Tyrese Haliburton, 8.5 Assists

Haliburton’s playoff average of 9.8 assists per game makes this line look tempting — but his track record vs OKC tells a different story.

In two regular-season matchups against the Thunder, he finished with just 8 and 3 assists, well below his usual playmaking output. Plus, OKC has tightened up against opposing point guards in the playoffs, allowing just 6.15 assists per game over their last 10.

Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final gave us a clear view of how the Oilers are leaning on their top guys — especially when it comes to shot volume. Several players saw elevated attempts, but one name jumped off the page: Evan Bouchard.

He racked up a massive 14-shot attempts in Game 1 — a signal worth watching closely as the series unfolds.

Evan Bouchard, 2.5 Shots on Goal

Bouchard turned his 14 shot attempts into 7 shots on goal

And it gets better: last season in the playoffs, Bouchard averaged 2.9 shots on goal, going over this number in 4 of 7 games and 2 of 3 home games versus Florida.

Let’s add a little more context:

  • In two of the games that he went under, he had zero shots on goal. In those two games, he had 5 shot attempts or fewer.

  • In the other 5 games of the series, in which he went over this line 4 times, he had 6 or more.

  • If the shot attempt volume is like the 5 games last year and game one this year, Bouchard should be in a good spot.
