With a jam packed slate tonight, we are going to look at 2 trends from each sport. There are two MLB playoff games, TNF between the Eagles and Giants, as well as a full NHL slate. Let’s get right into the action.

William Contreras has a hit in 76% of his games against the cubs, including 5 in this series. We like him again tonight with Matthew Boyd pitching for Chicago. In 10 PA against Boyd, Contreras has 3 singles, 1 double, and 1 home run.

Teoscar Hernandez failed to record a hit last game, and the last time he faced Cris Sanchez he was struck out 3 times. He does have 4 extra base hits off Sanchez, though, and will look to bounce back tonight. Teoscar has historically done better against left handed pitchers; does he get to Cris this time?

Pavel Dorofeyev opened up his season with a hat trick against the LA Kings, and he gets a nice match up against the Sharks tonight. Last season, San Jose allowed the most goals, and 2nd most shots per game. Pavel should get his opportunities to produce again here.

Mika Zibanejad o2.5 Shots On Goal

In his season opener against Pittsburgh, Mika Zibanejad landed 7 shots on goal on 11 total attempts. With this type of volume, we will look at him again tonight against Buffalo. He hit this line in all 3 meetings with the Sabres last season, and he had a 70% hit rate over this line in games with 5+ attempts.

DeVonta Smith o19.5 Longest Reception

DeVonta Smith has hauled in a reception of 20+ yards in 3 of his 5 games this season, and tonight he will take on a Giants team currently ranked 28th against the prop. Smith has a 30+ yard reception in 4 of his last 7 games against the rival Giants.

Cam Skattebo has rushed for 59+ yards in three consecutive weeks, and the Philadelphia Eagles come into this one ranked 22nd against rush yards. They have allowed multiple RBs to put up some nice games against them this season, could Skattebo be the next one up?
