NBA All Star Break is Almost Here
The Final Night of NBA Action
The NBA converges on Indianapolis for the All-Star Game this weekend, so we spent the morning in the lab one last time with a small NBA slate and a big NHL slate.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 0.5 Blocks
Surely Giannis can get one block, right? This is a line Giannis has hit in 70% of his games so far, 3 of his last 5, and 7 of his last 10.
The Grizzlies are also blocked 6.4 times per game, good for 29th in the NBA. After noting that, I thought “Maybe Giannis at 1.5 is a trend to look at?” - anything is possible, especially against a team that gets blocked that much, but Giannis only has 2 or more blocks in 16 of 53 games this season.
Steph Curry Over 5.5 3PTM
Steph Curry has been on fire lately, with 7 or more threes in 4 straight games and 7 of his last 10 outings. He also dropped 7 threes on the Utah Jazz on Monday night.
The cherry on top? The Jazz are just not very good at defending the three, sitting 27th in the league in that metric.
Anfernee Simons Over 2.5 Rebounds
Simons has gone over this line in 4 of his last 5, 7 of his last 10, and in 20 of 30 games this season (67%).
It is a tough matchup for Simons, the Timberwolves are the best rebounding team in the NBA. In both road games against Minnesota this year, Simons came up short of this line. But in the only other home game? He came through.
NHL
Joel Armia Over 1.5 Shots on Goal
Can Joel Armia keep it going?
He’s hit this shots on goal line in 11(!) straight games and in 5 straight games against the New York Rangers. But it is a tough spot against New York, they are 9th in shots on goal allowed in the league and keep teams to 28.36 shots on goal per game, the 6th best in the NHL.
Jason Robertson Over 0.5 Points
These are Jason Roberstons 2023, last 20, L10, L5, and vs Opp splits for this prop tonight.
Robertson has a point in three straight games and his position on the Stars first powerplay helps this trend out a little more. The Nashville Predators are just awful on the penalty kill and take their fair share of penalties, too.
Auston Matthews Over 0.5 Goals
In his last 10 games, Auston Matthews hasn’t gone two games without a goal, and in his last 30 games, he’s only gone back-to-back without a goal twice.
Historically, Matthews has enjoyed his time against the orange and black. He has goals in 3 of his last 5 meetings with the Flyers dating back to 2021.
The Madness is Almost Here
It’s never too early to talk about March Madness, right? We have just 33 days until the First Four and 35 days until the first round tips off. With that, our men’s college basketball tool has its work cut out for it. Tonight our tool features 12 games, with 5 different player prop filters to choose from.
Here’s a trend for two of the games featuring the top 25 teams tonight and a team fighting to keep a tournament appearance streak alive
Jordan Riley Over 18.5 Pts+Reb+Ast - Temple
We’re going with a trend from the unranked team in this first game, with Temple guard Jordan Riley. He’s hit 62% of the time this season and in 7 of his last 10 games.
Braden Smith Over 5.5 Rebounds - Purdue
Braden Smith has been a board fiend lately, grabbing at least 6 rebounds in 7 of his last 10 games and 4 of his last 5. He also had 7 boards against Minnesota on January 19th.
Ryan Nembhard Over 11.5 Points - Gonzaga
This is a massive game for Gonzaga (3rd in the West Coast Conference), needing a win against Saint Mary’s (1st in the West Coast Conference) as they look forward to the WCC tournament in early March. Nembhard has gone under this number in three of his last 5 games, but he’s still hit this line 54% of the time this season.
