Francisco Lindor Is On Fire
The Mets struggled big time in early August. From August 3rd to 15th, they lost 10 of 11 games, and were outscored 74-56. Since then, they’ve won 3 out of 4, and have outscored opponents 22-10. A big part of their mini bounceback has been the play of Lindor, who has 2 or more HRR in 5 of his last 7 games, and 7 HRR over his last 4 games.

In those 7 games, Lindor is hitting .517 with a ridiculous 1.528 OPS. You won’t find him on the BvP Sheet below, but that’s just because he’s in for a decent challenge today. In 20 plate appearances against Nationals starter Mackenzie Gore, Lindor has mustered a measly .176 average with 3 singles.
