NBA Points
Klay Thompson 15.5 Points
He’s not as consistent as he once was, but Klay can still cook. He’s surpassed this line in 58% of his games this season and in 3 of his last 5 games before the break.
The Lakers give up the third most looks from beyond the arc, and Thompson made them pay for it on January 27th, nailing six threes on his way to 24 points.
Talen Horton-Tucker 6.5 Points
Horton-Tucker has eclipsed this line in 67% of his games this season and he gets a juicy matchup against a Charlotte defense that is bottom 10 or bottom 5 in every defensive category.
And in the final 15 games before the break, Horton-Tucker crushed this line at an 80% clip.
NBA Rebounds
Trey Lyles 2.5 Rebounds
This is an incredible spot for Lyles, going up against the 2nd worst rebounding team in the NBA who have let the last several power forwards they’ve played grab 5 to 6 boards per game.
Lyles at just 2.5 rebounds is surprisingly low. He’s averaged 4.5 rebounds per game and gone above this line in 82% of his games this season.
Devin Booker 3.5 Rebounds
We’re highlighting Booker here because the Dallas Mavericks are a not-so-great rebounding team on both ends of the court.
Booker has gone over this line in 73% of his games this season and in 10 of his last 15 games before the All-Star Break.
NBA Assists
Grayson Allen 2.5 Assists
Our projection model has Grayson Allen ending this game with 4 assists, which lines up with both of his performances against the Mavs this season.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see this line move up before tip-off, with Allen averaging 3.2 assists per game this season and surpassing this line in 65% of his games this season.
Al Horford 1.5 Assists
No team in the NBA gives up more assists to centers than the Washington Wizards, so this should be a good spot for Horford. On November 28 Horford easily hit this line against the Wizards, with 6 assists.
Overall, this line has been easy for Horford. He’s hit in 6 of his last 10 games and clipped this line at a rate of 73% this season.
NBA Alternative Lines
Kyrie Irving 29.5 Points
As with all alternative lines that are above the original line, there’s some obvious risk. He’s only scored 30 or more points 27% of the time this season, but if you look at the last 15 games before the break, he managed 30 or more in nearly half.
Two pieces of data jumped out to us that this trend may be worth a look: he scored 30 or more in both games against the Suns last year and the last three-star point guards to play the Suns have hit this line.
NHL Trends for Tonight
Rasmus Andersson SOG Rasmus Andersson has registered at least two shots on goals in 69% of his games this season and 4 of his last 5 games. | Sam Bennett Shots on Goal Sam Bennett has hit this line in 7 straight games against the Hurricanes dating back to 2022 and in 66% of his games this season. |
Matt Duchene Points Revenge game? It’s been a LONG time since Matt Duchene played for the Senators, so that narrative may not play but Duchene does have at least one point in 67% of his games this season and 5 points in his last 5 games. | Seth Jarvis Points Seth Jarvis has been on a tear lately, with points in 13 of his last 15 games and 70% of his last 30 games. Overall on the season, Jarvis has recorded at least one point 58% of the time. |
