Giants and Panthers Start It Off
If you didn’t wake up early to watch the Giants and Panthers, then you’ve probably checked the score since waking up. We don’t have a crystal ball, but Chubba Hubbard has to be chewing up the 28th-ranked rushing defense. Najee Harris had 114 yards against them last week, and Saquon dropped 176 on the ground the week before. Fresh off that new contract extension, we hope the Canadian is eating’ in Munich!
Our analysis of that game ends there, and below you’ll find 3 betting trends for week 10. These aren’t pick recommendations, we just want to highlight the power of Props.Cash and how it can help you with your research week in, and week out.
1 PM Window: Justin Jefferson vs the Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars average 264.3 passing yards against per game, 31st in the NFL. On paper, this is a David vs Goliath game.
JJ’s last 5 games, receiving yards
Justin Jefferson is averaging 102 yards per game over his last 5, and 126 yards per game over his last two. Yes, no receiver has racked up more than 87 yards against the Jags since week 5, but JJ is a whole other beast. His lowest output this season is 59 yards in week one, and Jefferson hasn’t had less than 81 yards since. The Props.Cash projection model has him at 102.21 yards for this game, not surprising considering everything above and these three quick-hitting pieces of supporting data:
Jefferson is averaging 8.6 targets per game this season and has had 8 or more targets in 6 straight weeks.
AJ Brown had 36 yards in the first half against the Jags last week before getting hurt and not playing the second half. His yards then went to DeVonta Smith, who finished with 87 yards. Smith had just 9 at halftime. Wide receiver ones have had real success against the Jags this year.
The Jafs give up 9.3 yards per pass completion, dead last in the NFL.
The Jags passing defense is horrible
Bonus note: Tucker Kraft (week 8), Hunter Henry (week 7), and Cole Kmet (week 6) all had 70 or more yards against this Jags team. TJ Hockenson returned from injury last week for Minnesota and managed just 27 yards on 3 receptions and 4 targets. His receiving line is 35.5 this week, something we wanted to share, considering tight ends have had success against this Jags team.

4 PM Window: Saquon Barkley vs the Dallas Cowboys
David vs Goliath Part 2! On paper, that is. Barkley is on another level right now, averaging 115.6 rushing yards per game over his last 5 games, and 147.66 yards per game over his last 3. Video game numbers.
Barkley is on first in his last 3 games
This Cowboys team is demoralized with the loss of Dak Prescott, and they’re throwing in the towel. Or have been throwing in the towel? Honestly, with their defensive play, you could make the argument that this team never had the towel in hand.
Dallas rush defense leaves a lot to be desired
The rushing defense is abysmal, allowing 147.8 rushing yards per game. Somehow, that’s only the 3rd worst in the league, and not the worst, but it’s bad nonetheless. Bijjan Robinson just got 86 yards on the ground against them last week, and 146 all-purpose yards, and just three weeks ago Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery combined for 143 yards on the ground. Like we said, David vs Goliath.
Sunday Night Football: Jared Goff vs the Houston Texans
The Texans are a top 3 team in passing yards allowed per game, the best team in the league at keeping opponents’ completion percentage down (54.9, 1st), and only allow 6.3 yards per completion (23rd in the NFL). But the one place they lack in the defensive passing game, and lack badly, is keeping the ball out of their endzone from the air.
Goff’s 2024 season: passing touchdowns
Houston allows 2.11 passing touchdowns per game, the second worst in the NFL. Opposing quarterbacks are cooking these guys right now, with 3 of the last 4 QBs to face the Lions have had 3 passing touchdowns, and the only one who didn’t was Anthony Richardson, who has since been benched.
Quarterbacks have eaten against the Cowboys
Goff is averaging 2.2 passing touchdowns per game and has at least 2 in 4 of his last 5.
