Thanksgiving Football!

It’s one of the best days of the year - three football games that usually live up to the hype, good food, and time off. Happy Thanksgiving! Before we preview those three games, with a touchdown look at all three, check out this week’s NFL Edge Report:

You’ll find one prop for each game today and a game on Sunday in this week’s report. Overall, the trends we’ve highlighted are 11-5 this season after a 2-2 week last week.

Now, let’s get into it.

Packers at Lions

Touchdown: Christian Watson

Watson has only 2 touchdowns this season in 5 games, but the matchup is a good one. The Lions rank 30th in touchdowns allowed to opposing wide receivers, and more importantly, they rank 28th in longest completion allowed to opposing wide receivers, and this is where Watson eats. Recent wide receivers have eaten against the Lions, too.

Recent wide receivers versus the Packers

Now, let’s look at Watson’s last 10 games.

Watson’s L10 games, longest catch

In those games, he’s averaged a longest completion of 28 yards. Although he hasn’t converted those to touchdowns, against this secondary, the opportunity is going to be there for a long-ball receiver like Watson.

Player Prop: Jahmyr Gibbs, Receiving Yards

Chiefs at Cowboys

Touchdown: Patrick Mahomes

There’s obviously going to be a few touchdowns in this game with the quarterbacks, but the best DvP on the board goes to Mahomes against Dallas. The Cowboys have given up the most TDs to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Cowboys defensive data versus opposing quarterbacks

They gave up 2 touchdowns to Jalen Hurts last week, and have given up a touchdown to an opposing quarterback in 3 of the last 5 weeks. Mahomes had strong touchdown data to start the year, but has gone quiet in his last 5 games.

Can he find the end zone today?

Player Prop: Big Brain Parlay

Kyle didn’t have a prop for this game, so check out the Big Brain Parlay from Steven Cheah at Barstool Sports:

Bengals at Ravens

Touchdown: Ja’Marr Chase

In his last 2 games against the Baltimore Ravens, dating back to last season, Chase has insane numbers. 21 receptions, 457 yards and 5 touchdowns. Like we said, insane.

Chase’s touchdowns versus the Ravens

The Ravens rank 22nd in yards allowed to wide receivers this season and 25th in touchdowns allowed to wideouts. Can Chase dominate this matchup again? It’s worth noting that Tee Higgins is out and Joe Burrow is back!

Player Prop: Chase Brown, Receiving Yards

Check out Kyle’s reason for this prop above. Skip to 03:10 for the Brown trend.
