Two pitcher trends, two batter trends, and maybe a clean sweep (we hope)? Let’s go!

Highlighting the Colorado Rockies to get to a pitcher isn’t the most confident thing in the world, but it’s Dallas Keuchel. He gave up 5 earned in his only other start this season, but it’s also his historical numbers against this Rockies lineup are encouraging. Check out are partner, ChaseTheLock, and his write-up for this trend:

Kyle Gibson Under 5.5 Hits Allowed

Kyle Gibson gets a wonderful matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and his historical data this year against this line looks good for this trend.

He’s only gone over this line in 5 of his 15 starts, and just 1 of his 7 road starts. Gibson also gets a Pirates lineup that is hitting just .210 against righties at home in their last 30 games.

Jonathan India Over 0.5 Total Bases

India is riding a 12-game hitting streak and has 2 or more total bases in 11 of those 12 games. We’re only highlighting the 0.5 bases here, but if you want the juice then 1.5 total bases may look as well.

India faces Luis Gill, who has struggled in four straight outings compared to the early parts of his season.

Masyn Winn Over 0.5 Singles

Winn is a rookie, so there isn’t a lot of head-to-head matchups data to go through for him versus individual pitchers, but is 6 at-bats a big enough sample size for him versus Mitch Keller? We’ll find out tonight.

In 6 place appearances, Win has two singles and a triple versus Keller, who’s been hit to the tune of .272 by righties this season.

Austria and Turkey close out the round of 16 at 3 pm, and we have one trend for the final game before the quarterfinals.

Christoph Baumgartner Over 0.5 Shots on Goal

In both games that Baumgartner has started in this tournament, he’s registered at least a shot on goal. Baumgartner is tied for the team lead in shots on goal with three, and the Austrian midfielder draws a Turkey team that allowed four shots on goal to Georgia, four shots on goal to Portugal, and six shots on goal to Turkiye.

Three WNBA games on the slate, with Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever in action, but our focus is on the New York Liberty. Or rather, against the New York Liberty.

Napheesa Collier Under 29.5 Points+Rebounds

This is strictly a matchup play - dating back to last season, Collier has gone under this line in 4 straight matchups against New York.

Plus, the Liberty are a top-two defensive team in points and rebounds this season.
