Week 1 of College Football

Week zero was the start of the College Football season, but week 1 is the real start to the College Football season. Let’s get into it!

Luther Burden III Over 96.5 Receiving Yards (Thursday, 8 PM)

Get used to seeing this name, he’ll be getting ready for his first NFL game this time next year. Burden is a top-three, if not the best, wide receiver in college football. He gets a juicy matchup in week one against Murray State, who are winless in 9 tries against SEC opponents and have won just 4 games over the last two years.

Burden went over this line in 5 of his last 10 games, with 7 touchdowns over that span.

Garrett Greene Over 43.5 Rushing Yards (Saturday, 12 PM)

Greene and the Mountaineers will kick off their season with alumnus Pat McAfee broadcasting pregame, and in attendance, in what’s considered West Virginia’s most promising outlook for a season in a long time. But they’ll have their hands busy with a Penn State defense that can straight-up ball.

Greene’s last 20 games

Green’s head-to-head vs Penn State

Greene has been over this line in 9 of his last 15 starts, including racking up 71 rushing yards against Penn State last September.

MLB Bets from @WallaBets

One of our key partners, @WallaBets, gave us two trends he likes for today’s MLB slate! If you like what he wrote up, check out his X page where he posts a daily hot hitters write-up that’s a great guide every morning.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr Over 1.5 Total Bases

Vlad Jr has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball since the break and has tallied a hit in 26 of his last 30 games. 20 of those games saw him clear his 1.5 total bases line, as he has 13 multi-hit games and 25 XBHs in this span. When playing in Boston, Vlad has a 76% hit rate over this line in his last 21 games. After tallying a single yesterday, he faces Kutter Crawford to open today’s game.

Vladdy has hit this in 67% of his last 30 games

Vlad is batting .321 when facing a righty this season and has 4 singles in 10 PA vs Crawford previously. While Crawford has a .216 pBA this season, he has been giving up barrels, allowing 28 home runs. With Vlad racking up XBHs recently, this could be a good match-up for some solid contact on his end.

Vlad has a .444 average against Crawford

Mookie Betts Over 1.5 Total Bases

Mookie Betts is on a 4 game-hit streak heading into his match-up with Baltimore tonight and has tallied a hit in 11 of his last 15 overall. Across this span, Betts has cleared 1.5 total bases 9 times. He has gone under in back-to-back games, though he still managed a single in each of those games.

Betts is over this in 9 of his last 15 games

On the season, Betts is batting .324 vs LHPs. While he hasn’t found as much power against them to this point this year, we know in seasons past that Betts has faired well vs lefties. With the average still there, he could look to get back over the 1.5 line with Povich on the mound. Povich has a .299 pBA when facing RHBs this season, with 11 more XBHs allowed to righties than lefties.

NFL Future from Markus_Markets

Our fourth NFL future drops today from one of our partners, @Markus_Markets. You can check out all three we’ve revealed so far down below and Markus's right now!

Josh Allen Over 485.5 Rushing Yards

These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2024

If you've ever struggled to enjoy cannabis due to the harshness of smoking or vaping, you're not alone. That’s why these new cannabis gummies caught our eye.

Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal. Their gummies are formulated to tap into the human body’s endocannabinoid system.

Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!
